Thanks again, Amazon Great price as well and quick shipping. I needed a power adapter for an older Olympus Digital camera an Amazon came thru again. Works just fine and I can save my battries.
Only remove the Memory Card in you camera when you have to as their is a finite amount insertions and removals specified in the lifetime of any Memory card, not to mention it could be forgotten in the reader and or damaged while outside the reader or camera.Purchasing the AC Adapter C7AU was one of the best puchases I have made as I have two Olympus Digital Cameras, the C4040UZ and my newer model SP570UZ (Absolutely love both of them) but downloading pictures drains the batteries quickly and sometimes I have forgotten to turn the camera off after downloading resulting in lost shot opportunities.It is absolutely a Must have item and Amazon's vendor price was much less expensive than purchasing directly from Olympus.Thanks Amazon for the excellent service.Olympus C7AU AC Adapter for Olympus Digital Cameras
Only wish it had a longer cord (4ft). I have been looking for a way to eliminate costly batteries for my Olympus camera, as I take a lot of pictures of products I sell at home.This adaptor works like a charm.
all in all, good investment as an alternative to draining batteries. once again, personal preference. This is an adapter.I have an Olympus E-10 dSLR camera.This fits the port on the camera and provides the electricity necessary to power my camera without the use of batteries.It does what it advertises - nothing more, nothing less.i would have preferred it if the cord length was a little longer, but that's just personal preference. Also, if the prongs would have been located on the back face of the adapter as opposed to the top, i think i'd feel a little more secure when it juts out of my wall outlet.
After three emails I was finally able to recive a confirmation to return it but was surprised when I was told I would have to pay the cost to return the adapter. If they had sent me one that worked in the first place, I would not have had to return it.
More than a month has passed since ordering and I am still without the adaptor. After complaining, a return label was sent to me as a "courtesy".
I ordered the Olympus C7AU AC Adapter for Olympus Digital Cameras from the Amazon web site. How absurd for an answer to an Internet sales product.
By the way, it was overpriced and I wish Best Buy had the adaptor when I wanted to purchase it, but they did not. Upon arrival, it would not work at all.
When I questioned this, I received a very smart response that if I had purchased it at Best Buy the store would not pay my gas or mileage expenses to return it to the store.
